How to Check the Status of a DBS Check

  • Step 1: Login to your eBulk account

  • Step 2: Select 'Manage Applications' and type in the candidates name

  • Step 3: Select the orange envelope under 'Status' to check the status

  • Step 4: Select 'Refresh' under tracking

Warning

The police can hold the check for up to 60 working days, and if they exceed the 60 working days, we can then escalate this with the Disclosure and Barring Service. Whilst the check is being held for less than 60 days, the check cannot be escalated.
